We went to the Bistro for Sunday lunch with four of our friends and were not disappointed, we received a very warm welcome and was impressed with the design of the place and how clean it was. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the service was spot on. Couldn't fault the meal at all and all three courses were excellent, we all look forward to returning there again soon. I would highly recommend the Bistro Le Coq to anyone. mal at all, all the three courses were excellent and we will definitely be going back here again.
My in-laws recommended this little gem to us, and having now dined at it my husband and I totally agreed with them how wonderful it was. The fixed menu was brilliant for £10 for 3 courses, and they are not small courses. How they do it for the price we are flabbergasted. For the 4 of us, including drinks, it came to £60 (or if you want to say £15 a head - which in some places we have eaten this is a price of a main course alone!). We are soon moving to the area, so we are very happy to find somewhere we shall no doubt frequent a lot ! PS the Cote de port 'charcuterie' and the waffle dessert with ice cream were truly scrumptious.
