Food

As with all cuisines, French food varies from region to region, reflecting the diversity of the culinary arts of the country, and the produce available. However, harvesting the best food from land and sea, and creating dishes that taste wonderful is the true expression of French cooking.

A La Carte Menu & Fixed Price Menus

Mother's Day Menu - Easter Sunday Menu

Whilst our menus feature dishes from other parts of France, much of the inspiration for our food, is drawn from the sun drenched South, where, traditionally, the cooking draws influences from its Mediterranean neighbours, and former French colonies of North Africa, and the middle and far East.

Colourful fruit and vegetables, olive oil, herbs and spices are all used to bring out the best from meat, fish, and poultry dishes. Fresh salads, cured meats, ewes and goat’s milk cheeses, rice, pasta and cous cous, all feature in dishes that are both good to eat and good for your health.

All our dishes are prepared freshly to order, and so can be adapted to suit different dietary requirements.

The French concept of informal dining that forms the basis of what we offer our customers, ensures that eating out should be relaxing, enjoyable and fun. At the same time we aim to offer great value for money, by offering fixed price menus for 2, or 3 courses, in addition to our A la Carte Menu.

Our fixed price Bistro menus, change regularly, and you can choose either a starter and main course, main course and dessert, or all three courses from our Dinner menus. The main menus are supplemented by Chef’s Specialities, and Dishes of the day, which may sometimes carry a supplement.

At lunchtime, you can choose from either our 2 Course ‘Menu du Jour’ Bistro menu, or our special light lunch menu, featuring Galettes, Crepes, Casolettes, and a range of classic French favourites.

On Sunday, we offer a superb Sunday Lunch, again with a choice of either 2 or 3 Courses, depending on your appetite. As well as items from our main stream Menus, we also include a traditional Sunday roast.

In true French style we encourage family dining, and offer a separate ‘Menu Enfant’ for younger diners.
